WhereIsTheTutorial, How do I get This script to run? or request input to calculate?

I wish there was some type of simplest running program, with instructions for preceeding steps, then loading steps, and actions to get the program/script to run from this point in time and actions.

I might suggest:
a simple script that was typed here, with comments encapsulated here, 
with steps to take to operate the script, including simple input and calculation,
and output statement, so it can be operated from here. PLEASE???

How would I make a script in this "loaded program/script"
request a particular input, run a calculation, and then display the output?
